Our aim is to provide a warm friendly atmosphere, making everyone feel welcome from the moment they arrive. We make sure our residents feel as happy and contented as if they were in their own home.
Maria Helena is an 18th Century building on the most part with 23 bedrooms in the main house and a further 9 bedrooms in our purpose built annex within the grounds. Accommodation consists mainly of single en-suite rooms and beautiful dining rooms, sensory lounge and TV lounges. The home stands on 5 acres of land where there are rolling lawns, extensive flower borders that bloom both summer and spring, a specialised purpose built sensory garden and a vegetable garden where fresh produce is grown for and by our residents.
Maria Helena aim to ensure our residents religious or ethnic needs can be fulfilled. We are completely dedicated to caring and supporting our residents with terminal illness endeavouring to ensure that their wishes and beliefs are adhered to and we are committed to making sure they always feel comforted with someone by their side during their final journey.
Visiting:
Relatives and friends are welcome at any time of the day and for our residents family and friends bus services are available for access to the home and they can arrange to have a meal with their family if required at a small cost.
General Practitioner:
Maria Helena can arrange for our residents to be registered with the local GP practice Maria Helena is registered with Lincolnshire Social Services and the Care Quality Commission and a copy of our report can be downloaded from the CQC website at www.cqc.org.uk . We have also received a food hygiene rating of five, which is an excellence award, following an assessment by the Lincolnshire Environmental Health inspection officer.
